Sticker Contest: SHOW us what Public Health Means to You

You think you know what public health is? Show us! Just like they did.

Pick up "This is Public Health" stickers, and stick 'em to what that you think represents public health. Take a picture, and e-mail it to me at healthyturtle@gmail.com. Your entry will be included in a slide show on The Healthy Turtle, and we'll choose our favorite to win a prize!

And you'll benefit just from entering. For every photo you submit, that's five points in the race for the Public Health Week Champ.

When you e-mail your entry, be sure to include this info:
1. The title of the work
2. Your complete name
3. When and where (address or nearest intersection) the photo was taken.
4. A description of the photo
5. A description of the public health implications of the photo (up to 200 words).

Pick up your stickers at the Wellness Expo from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday, April 5 in the Friedgen Family Student Lounge on the second floor of the School of Public Health building. For more info about our Public Health Week events and contests, click here.

The photo contest springs from a campaign designed by the Association of Schools of Public Health to spread the understanding about what public health is, because, let's face it, very few really know. Help spread the knowledge. Learn more about the nationwide campaign here.
