Toni Aluko has big plans, and because of those plans and a $10,000 scholarship, the public health masters student was featured in ABC's "Working Woman" segment last week. The filming was done here at SPH.
Aluko recently received the $10,000 Ambi Scholarship in Science and Medicine. On her path to becoming a doctor for underserved families, Aluko is currently obtaining a bachelors in sports medicine, in a addition to the masters in public health. (That's with one bachelors from UMD already under her belt!) Check out the clip below for more of Aluko's accomplishments and aspirations.
