Dr. Sandra Hofferth one of the Journal of Marriage and Family's most cited authors


Sandra Hofferth, Family Science Professor and Director of the Maryland Population Research Center, is among the group of authors whose work was recognized as the most cited articles published in the Journal of Marriage and Family over the past ten years.

The Journal of Marriage and Family includes three of Dr. Hofferth's articles in their list, including "Children's Time with Father's in Intact Families," "How American Children Spend Time," and "Are All Dads Equal? Biology Versus Marriage as a Basis for Paternal Investment."

The Journal of Marriage and Family (JMF) has been the leading research journal in the field of family studies for three quarters of this century. In recognition of this tradition, the journal's editorial team recognized the twenty most highly cited JMF articles published in the past decade. These articles represent the multidisciplinary breadth of the journal and its commitment to publishing significant contributions using a variety of methods.
