Yesteday, the participants of the University of Maryland Summer Training and Research Program (UMSTAR), who have spent the last 10 weeks engaged in intensive research in our school's labs, took a tour of Capitol Hill. Most of the students are not from the DC Metro area, and the visit was definitely memorable.
